CyberEye CE-500 head-mounted display (HMD) provides the ultimate, low-cost solution for full-immersion applications ranging from arcade games to driving simulators to surgical simulation. The CE-500, offers a 30 degree field-of-view, long eye relief (35mm), and large exit pupils (9mm), to provide outstanding binocular or stereoscopic imagery for all users, with or without eyeglasses. It uses two full color, reflective liquid crystal displays that provide SVGA (800x600) resolution. The audio system provides similar advantages,using standard ear bud speakers (high-power Sennheiser speaker drivers available as an option) .The CE-500 is a unique video display designed to support extended use in professional and game applications. To support rapid throughput in public-use applications, the CE-500 uses dual interpupillary adjustment for both eyes, and a rear ratchet knob to securely tighten the display on the user's head - no other adjustments are required. It accepts a wide variety of input formats, including SVGA,VGA,S-Video,NTSC, and PAL. The iReality.com CyberTrack II, three-degree-of-freedom (DOF) tracker, is available as an option. Other 3 DOF or 6 DOF trackers are also available.
